Five D Enterprises is an experienced airfield lighting contractor. We install both Medium Intensity Runway and Taxiway Lighting as well as High Intensity Runway Lighting Systems for Runways with instrument approach procedures. Installation methodologies include: Stake mounted fixtures with direct buried cables. Base mounted fixtures with transformer enclosures with continuos 2" pipe between fixtures. Five D Enterprises installs ductbank and manhole systems. One area of airfield lighting growth is in the SMGCS (Surface Movement Guidance Control System) equipment installation. Precise control of aircraft ground movements during poor surface visibility allows the airport to continue to provide operational capability while assuring safety.
